Campbell worked as a conservationist with various government
agencies for over twenty years. He is well-versed in coastal
marine environments and ornithology, and is an expert on
the indigenous Maori peoples. After leading a number of
Smithsonian Study Tours, Malcolm joined the Coopersmith's
team in 2000, when he became an overnight success with his
personable manner and broad knowledge of his native land.

After working for many years as an investment banker in Argentina, Brazil, the Bahamas, France, and the US, he returned to the UK in 1991, to obtain his credentials as a Blue Badge Guide. Now a resident of London, Alan regularly leads tours of his native Scotland, specializing in castles, gardens, history, music, and the arts. This will be his second year with COOPERSMITH'S, having opened in 2006 to rave reviews.

MARIANNE GORMAN
Dubliner Marianne Gorman obtained her degree in French and Spanish from University College Dublin. She has worked for Irish Television, lived in Paris for four years while acting as assistant director of the Irish Tourist Office, and led tours for numerous museum and botanical garden societies, among them the Whitney Museum and the New York Botanical Gardens. In her words "intensely involved in all things botanical," Marianne has created, with her husband, their own Robinsonian-type garden. This will be her premier season with COOPERSMITH'S.
